The Ferndale Chamber of Commerce would like to invite your business to participate in our 3rd Annual Business Expo! This event is a great way of showcasing your business, increasing business visibility in the community, introducing local businesses to consumers, share information on entrepreneurism and business development along with building long-term relationships.

In these economic times, it is important for businesses to network with one another in the community, explore ways to let the public know what they have to offer and what they can do for people.

Check out the 2010 Breakout Sessions which were scheduled during the afternoon.

The 2011 Expo will be held in May.

2010 BREAKOUT BUSINESS SESSIONS

3:30PM: Small Biz Counseling Options:
This will be an introduction to the three organizations who provide free biz counseling in Ferndale: SBDC, CEV, and SCORE

4:00PM: Small Biz HR: Policy & Law:
Volunteers from the Mt Baker SHRM will be our guest providing clear instruction as to the confusing situations of employment procedures.

4:30PM: SBDC: Small Biz Financing:
Our WWU SBDC Director will provide an overview of financing options, including some new alternative financing options.

5:00PM: Social Media Marketing:
Our own local expert, Becky Raney of Print & Copy Factory will cover trends in Social Media.

6:00PM: State of the Economy:
WWU Dr Hart Hodges will provide an interesting review of the economy from multiple view points and perspectives—Can’t Miss!
